Event Description
The key to getting things done today is influence, not authority. Whether you are a business analyst, project manager, manager or director, there is a shift occurring in the way we view leadership. The focus today is on demonstrating personal leadership and getting results through others by building relationships and using influence skills, rather than relying on positional power. Flatter management structures, matrix organizations, cross-functional project teams, outsourcing and virtual teams all mean it is essential to get things done through a greater number of people, both inside and outside the organization.
This practical and dynamic session is based on experience with clients and a recent research done on the most effective practices related to influences in the workplace.
