IIBA Toronto CBAP CCBA ECBA Exam Prep Course

This exam prep course is an extension of the IIBA Toronto Coaching Program. About half the coaching program participants are using the Coaching Program to continue their lifelong learning and be granted IIBA certifications and certificates.

For IIBA BABOK based exams – CBAP CCBA ECBA

  1. Elective:  Group Practice Exam Sessions are available to attend. We use Watermark Learning Practice Exams. 
  2. Attend in October and  December, and also other times in November. 

Time

  • 10 AM ET to 2:30 PM ET each day the exam prep course occurs

Course

  • The syllabus focuses on the 30 business analysis tasks in the IIBA BABOK v3 Guide

Learning Tools

  • We use generative AI to understand and learn concepts and principles of business analysis
  • We use scenarios to demonstrate how tasks can be used to accomplish your business analysis work and use the understanding to successfully prepare for your certification exam.
  • We use scenarios to demonstrate how business analysis tasks are used in enterprise / complex projects as presented in the BABOK Guide, and in product, Lean Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise - SAFe 6.0, in Scrum sprints, and in design thinking double diamond methods workspaces. 
  • The above make the BABOK Guide real for your work and for your certification exam.

To assist in understanding your work and the Guide, we share the principles, concepts, and work that the BABOK v3 Guide describes, using the following methods. This has proved to be most successful. Much of the language and references in the BABOK v3 are ten years old, and we help update this for you.

  2. Product - As described by Marty Cagan's writings
  3. SAFe 6.0 - Lean's Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise 
  4. Design Thinking Double Diamond


Work Together During and After the Course

  • We use team work and individual work
  • Each task is a separate module which is recorded separately 
  • Join the WhatsApp practice exam group
  • Participate in the weekly practice exams as you prepare for your CBAP exam

Many of you have told us you want to write your certification exam within four months of completeing the course. Our focus is assist you in writing your exam by the first day of Spring  March 20, 2025 or in April, 2025.

Payment Policy

The IIBA Toronto BABOK v3.0 Course (Program) fees must be paid upon registration in the Program prior to attending. Pricing, registration terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice.

For credit card payments, charges will be in the currency of the country where the class takes place and will be converted by the credit card company. IIBA Toronto Chapter is not responsible for fluctuations due to exchange rates. Taxes will be applied to the payment where applicable.

IIBA Toronto Chapter reserves the right to make changes to the Program described or to cancel the Program at any time without notice or liability. The Chapter's sole liability will be limited to the refund of registration fees paid in respect of the workshop and the Chapter shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential loss arising whatsoever. The Chapter will endeavor to give enrollees as much advance notice as possible of any change to the Program or registrant’s enrollment.

Registration Fee

The registration fee covers participation only.

Refund Policy

Cancellations will be allowed prior to 5 day of the Program start date and a full refund will be issued. Cancellations will not be permitted within 5 days of the Program start date; however, substitutions will be permitted. It is up to the registrant to find and arrange a substitute. The Chapter will process the substitution by changing the registrant name but is not responsible for any financial transactions between the registrants.

No refunds will be issued within 5 days of the Program start date. If a registrant does not attend the start date event of the Program and has not given adequate notification, it will result in full forfeiture of the registration fee.
