The Boot Camp Course runs two consecutive weekends in August

Total hours for the course is 28 credit hours or 36 credit hours depending on your learning requirements, your IIBA Certification Application requirements, or any qualifying organization's certification and recertification requirements you may have. 

The course has the following outcomes:

  • Prepare for IIBA Certifications - ECBA, CCBA, CBAP
  • Understanding business analysis for both

  • A full walk through the IIBA business analysis framework as found in the IIBA BABOK v3
  • Understanding of the principles, concepts, and competencies of the framework as found in the IIBA BABOK v3
  • Showing where the principles and concepts of business analysis show up in

    • Design Thinking in SAFe and 
    • other methods
  • Appreciating that business analysis is continually evolving and emerging and how you can contribute to your own practice and your team's practice with business analysis focused gap learning management

Business Analysis – An Applied Analysis Practice

  • The primary goal of business analysis is to ensure that the organization's resources are used effectively and efficiently to achieve its strategic goals. Business analysts work closely with stakeholders, including executives, managers, customers, and end-users, to understand their needs and to identify opportunities for improvement.

Business Analysis

  • The essence of business analysis is to identify business problems or opportunities and to recommend solutions that enable organizations to achieve their objectives. Payment Policy

The IIBA Toronto BABOK v3.0 Course (Program) fees must be paid upon registration in the Program prior to attending. Pricing, registration terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice.

For credit card payments, charges will be in the currency of the country where the class takes place and will be converted by the credit card company. IIBA Toronto Chapter is not responsible for fluctuations due to exchange rates. Taxes will be applied to the payment where applicable.

IIBA Toronto Chapter reserves the right to make changes to the Program described or to cancel the Program at any time without notice or liability. The Chapter's sole liability will be limited to the refund of registration fees paid in respect of the workshop and the Chapter shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential loss arising whatsoever. The Chapter will endeavor to give enrollees as much advance notice as possible of any change to the Program or registrant’s enrollment.

Registration Fee

The registration fee covers participation only.

Refund Policy

Cancellations will be allowed prior to 5 day of the Program start date and a full refund will be issued. Cancellations will not be permitted within 5 days of the Program start date; however, substitutions will be permitted. It is up to the registrant to find and arrange a substitute. The Chapter will process the substitution by changing the registrant name but is not responsible for any financial transactions between the registrants.

No refunds will be issued within 5 days of the Program start date. If a registrant does not attend the start date event of the Program and has not given adequate notification, it will result in full forfeiture of the registration fee.
