Research Series

With 4 Participants Panel Discussion

Wednesday, May 18, 2022  7:30 pm

IIBA Toronto has begun a new series focused on research
in the areas that involve business analysis.

Agile Business Analysis

Product Ownership Analysis

& Agile (Product, Scrum, SAFe, ...)

The important thing is to not stop questioning.

~Albert Einstein

We will start this research project as a crowd-research initiative. It will have a panel discussion and more. The purpose here is to take two valuable IIBA resources and develop a shared understanding how business analysis provides value in an agile or product setting in multiple ways.

IIBA Toronto Research Series

NEW!

Business Analysis In Agile & Product

Led By Panel Discussion

We will discuss the following led by a panel discussion of four senior practitioners:

Tim Hannan, Sr Cybersecurity Business Analyst, CIBC

Murdo MacMillan, Director Capital Markets

Colin Campbell, Sr Business Analyst, FedEx Express Canada

David Vrbanek, Lead Business Analyst, EPAM Systems

Analysis, also referred to as Problem Analysis and Problem Solving is part of everything.  So is informing the decision.  It is that simple.

SAFe Agile continues to evolve its practice. SAFe Agile spends effort solving for the executive and the organization and not only the core agile practice.

Scrum Agile continues to evolve what its practice is.  Recently this includes identifying that a competent capable Product Owner is a significant contributor to the success of an agile team and the value it delivers repeatedly. Scrum Agile now describes an agile team as self-managing as opposed to self-organizing.

It is not their job to identify and describe business analysis' relationship to their methodologies and frameworks. That job belongs to us and to the organization.

So ask yourself, where and how does business analysis, participate and  integrate into Agile and Product?
