This kickoff event is open to all interested individuals.
Connect and Move Your Career Forward
This program is a peer-to-peer experience with content and events prepared by IIBA Toronto for participants. You will move your career forward and connect with others.
ASSESS
Start with assessing yourself. There are various assessments available to help you grow your career and yourself. In the 2021 program, some have done a 360 review inside their organizations.
GOALS
Use your assessment results and observations others provided to create sustainable goals. Our program assists you to complete this task. Identify an opportunity, a problem, or a new function in your role, and create a goal to move your career forward. Use our scorecard to track your progress. Review your progress with others as you connect. Planning sheets and Weekly Scorecards are provided.
ACTION
In the book The 12 Week Year by Brian Moran, you build effectiveness and success when you take action based upon the principles of accountability, commitment, and greatness in the moment. Greatness in the moment is what you do long before great results are achieved. Greatness happens in the moment – it happens today, not on a red carpet.
CONNECT & SUPPORT
Work on your own, in small groups, or attend large group sessions where we discuss matters brought up by participants. There are weekly accountability meetings which are a few minutes in duration. We encourage you to participate in the live option.
COACHING PROGRAM
We have a Coaching Program for those wanting to develop coaching skills that works in concert with the Move Your Career Forward Program. You will receive details in your welcome package.
BOOK CLUB & WORKSHOP
During January to April, this program includes workshops covering the two books - The 12 Week Year and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Use the above workshops as you Move Your Career Forward. Books and their workbooks are available at bookstores online. You will receive details in your welcome package.
