THE NEW IIBA REQUIREMENTS
The study group program IIBA Toronto offers is 35 Professional Development (PD) credit hours in duration. IIBA Toronto uses peer-to-peer learning tools, deliver instructor led content, practice exam questions, have coaches, small group meetups, and more.
CREATING RESULTS
The result is we are able to encourage, motivate and help participants take ownership of the processes (building and submitting the application, pacing and studying for the certification exams) through the use of various learning methods, collaboration tools and community.
HOW WE HELP YOU
IIBA Toronto offers a full exploration of the IIBA BABOK v3.0. The mystery is removed and studying the IIBA BABOK v3.0 becomes manageable. We do not offer an exhaustive survey of the material in BABOK v3.0. We do encourage engagement, community, collaboration as you grow your competencies with the powerful assistance of IIBA Toronto's BABOK v3.0 based study group.
CHANGES IN THE IIBA CERTIFICATIONS
IIBA Toronto's changes are in response to the changes IIBA has made to both the IIBA BABOK in v3.0 and in three of the existing and new IIBA Certifications (ECBA, CCBA, and CBAP).
IIBA Toronto's study group satisfies the IIBA CBAP certification requirement of 35 PD credit hours, and the IIBA ECBA and IIBA CCBA certification requirement of 21 PD credit hours.

CHANGES IN THE IIBA BABOK v3.0
IIBA Toronto's study group deals with the reality that the 'meat' in the BABOK v3.0 grew to 440 pages from its previous 222 pages. That is an effective doubling of the material! In total the BABOK Guide has gone from 265 pages in v2.0 to 502 pages in v3.0, again almost doubling its previous size.
That said, the main changes are redesigning the knowledge areas slightly, adding five perspectives, and sixteen techniques. This allows the BABOK to address project based projects, enterprise based projects, and help keep the practice and the practitioner from becoming irrelevant to the enterprise's evolving business outcome.

We will also be reviewing the new Case Studies method used in the new BABOK v3.0 exams.
