Skill Builder Online Workshop

Business Process Modeling
Descriptive Modeling

3 Hour Hands On Workshop

June 6, 2020

10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Overview

Business modeling practices are often unclear definitions, resulting in miscommunication amongst stakeholders, and contributing to project failures, due to the inability to describe and understand an organization’s business processes end-to-end and top-to-bottom.

Let us help you build your skills!  The Toronto IIBA Chapter is hosting a 3-hour workshop on June 6, 2020, during which participants will learn:

  • A best practices approach to developing a Business Process Model
  • Practical exercises in Business Process Modeling based on real-world examples
  • The use of the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) for a business-oriented view of a given process

Every participant will leave the session with greater comfort and confidence to model business processes using effective diagramming techniques, be less intimidated by this work, and clearly show how Business Process Modeling leads to better business outcomes.
