The 10 week online study group covers the content in the IIBA BABOK v3.0. We start with the IIBA Certification Application Workshop that cover the Certifications, the application process, and the exam with suggestions and best practices for studying.  The 10 week duration is 30 Professional Development (PD) credit hours. With elective sessions, the study group will provide the 36 PD credit hours required for CBAP certification, and 36 CDU credit hours for IIBA Recertification.

The IIBA Toronto BABOK v3.0 Study Group is a solid companion for those seeking to write their exam in the coming months. The study allow you to review the BABOK, also participate in practice exams, and participate in study meetups.

Our IIBA BABOK v3.0 Study Group Program

  • Would like to dive into the body of knowledge to learn more about the content of A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge(IIBA BABOK v3.0)?
  • Are you looking to advance your career by growing your technical competencies?

IIBA Toronto is once again having an online IIBA BABOK v3.0 Study Group for those individuals interested in learning the BABOK IIBA for any reason.

The Program includes meetups and peer-to-peer connection during the Program. You can collaborate with others in the Program and benefit from others as they grow their competencies.

IIBA Chapter will run the study group for 9 sessions on Tuesday evenings. This study group will provide minimum 27 Professional Development (PD) credit hours for those students seeking certification, and provide a practice test opportunity for all students. Students will be provided with study group material. This study group program provides opportunity to acquire the full 35 hours required for the CBAP certification application and the 21 PD credit hours for both the CCBA certification application and the ECBA certificate application.

This study group will be facilitated by multiple facilitators. Individuals will be present as a coach during the sessions and thru the week.

IIBA Toronto uses peer-to-peer learning tools, deliver instructor led content, practice exam questions, have coaches, small group meetups, and more.


The result is we are able to encourage, motivate and help participants take ownership of the processes (building and submitting the application, pacing and studying for the certification exams) through the use of various learning methods, collaboration tools and community.


IIBA Toronto offers a full exploration of the IIBA BABOK v3.0. The mystery is removed and studying the IIBA BABOK v3.0 becomes manageable. We do not offer an exhaustive survey of the material in BABOK v3.0. We do encourage engagement, community, collaboration as you grow your competencies with the powerful assistance of IIBA Toronto's BABOK v3.0 based study group.

Payment Policy

The IIBA Toronto BABOK v3.0 Study Group (Program) fees must be paid upon registration in the Program prior to attending. Pricing, registration terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice.

IIBA Toronto Chapter reserves the right to make changes to the Program described or to cancel the Program at any time without notice or liability. The Chapter's sole liability will be limited to the refund of registration fees paid in respect of the workshop and the Chapter shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential loss arising whatsoever. The Chapter will endeavor to give enrollees as much advance notice as possible of any change to the Program or registrant’s enrollment.

Registration Fee

The registration fee covers participation only.

Refund Policy

Cancellations will be allowed prior to 5 day of the Program start date and a full refund will be issued. Cancellations will not be permitted within 5 days of the Program start date; however, substitutions will be permitted. It is up to the registrant to find and arrange a substitute. The Chapter will process the substitution by changing the registrant name but is not responsible for any financial transactions between the registrants.

No refunds will be issued within 5 days of the Program start date. If a registrant does not attend the start date event of the Program and has not given adequate notification, it will result in full forfeiture of the registration fee.
