Business Process Management
A How-To

September 28, 2019

9 AM to 12 PM

Overview

You have been asked to analyze business processes in your organization. You may be looking to:

  • determine which processes are prime candidates for robotic process automation or cognitive process automation
  • compile a list of processes that no longer deliver the intended business value
  • propose processes that can be eliminated as a result of merging functional departments
  • determine whether to outsource a function due to downgrading an enterprise capability
  • other business processes within your organization or domain

Join us as we introduce the fundamentals of business process management in this how-to workshop on September 28, 2019 starting at 9 AM.

You will learn to assess both the strengths and weaknesses of existing business processes, and assess the links between strategies and processes.

You will walk away with an understanding and appreciation of the importance of business process management (BPM) to the organization. You will be able to start using business process management techniques to analyze, redesign, improve, and build documents – analysis, specifications, and models – of business processes.

The understanding and appreciation you will acquire will deliver you a greater comfort and confidence to participate in analyzing business processes for improvements, be less uncertain, and clearly show how business process management leads to the delivering of better business outcomes.
