BABOK Primer

The Toronto Chapter will be hosting a BABOK Primer.  The sessions will be similar to the BABOK study groups, but review of BABOK content will be facilitator-led (not participant-led), with active questioning to participants to engage them and re-enforce their understanding.  There will also be active exercises to address memorization and test recall of the Knowledge Areas, Tasks, Inputs, Elements, Techniques, etc.

The sessions are designed for people who have started studying for the CBAP exam.  Participants should have already reviewed BABOK and/or started studying.

What it is NOT:  To fully teach participants on the content of the BABOK

NOTE:
IIBA Toronto will provide an additional event for those needing to get the full 21 PD hours for their certification application.

Content:
- Recap of each BABOK Chapter / Knowledge Area,
- Review and drills on Acronyms and other memorization
- Exam process review, tips for reading and answering exam questions, other miscellaneous

- Participants will spend additional time between each class to review the BABOK and prepare for the sessions

NOTE - Participants will bring a copy of the BABOK to class (hardcopy or soft copy).

The sessions will run for 6 consecutive weeks beginning April 16th.  Global Knowledge, an IIBA Toronto Platinum Sponsor, is providing their facilities for the session and participants may arrive anytime after 5:00.  The sessions will start promptly at 6:00 pm and run until 9:00 pm.  The session dates are as follows:
